Networking Group Establishes Eastvale Chamber of Commerce

Folds current group into the new chamber

Eastvale, CA — February 24, 2010 — The Eastvale Business Networking Group (EBNG) filed papers to convert the group to the Eastvale Chamber of Commerce, a non-profit organization. Operating as an area business networking group steadily for the last few years, it was the originally the goal of the group to eventually convert to chamber status. The conversion to a chamber is expected to be completed in March.

Quotes from the four executive board members:

“Our members always had plans to convert the group to a chamber one day,” said Hari Dhiman, EBNG executive board member and Master Developer for RedBrick Pizza in the Inland Empire. “The prospect of Eastvale becoming an independent city, combined with hitting a growth ceiling as a networking group, we decided to go ahead and file now.”

“The tough economic instability of the area demonstrated just how much we need to focus on stabilizing our own little corner of the world,” said Jorge Razo, EBNG executive board member and owner of Koki’s Bouncers. “No one else will come to our rescue or support. Other nearby chambers are more focused on their respective constituents — their businesses operating nearby — the Eastvale Chamber of Commerce will be very focused on the future prosperity of Eastvale and its businesses.”

“Our group has rapidly grown in the last couple of years and as such, we are quickly outgrowing the ability to better serve our members as a networking group alone,” said Joel Seigler, EBNG executive board member and an independent real estate appraiser. “By reorganizing as a chamber of commerce, the voice of our local businesses will be stronger with the credibility of a chamber behind them, thus opening up more opportunities to strengthen as a group.”

Deanne DeGrandpre, EBNG executive board member and owner of Marketing Main Street, stated “The Riverside County Board of Supervisors recently approved a measure to put the Eastvale Cityhood vote to the residents of Eastvale. If the measure passes, Eastvale will gain local control of its tax dollars. As a Chamber, Eastvale businesses will be in a better position to work with the new city in planning our future and enticing high-quality businesses to locate into the area.”
